The island of Cozumel is situated off the Yucatan peninsula and is a famous tourist resort in the Carribean. The shown lighthouse is not only visible in the night with its light shining 15 sea miles across the ocean but is clearly visible as a daymark and if you still have doubts as were you are then you are a hopeless case.

"Resulting from a content policy review, the following AtoNs are being removed from ALL volumes: AIS/Racon information
not pertaining to fixed light features; buoys of primary navigational significance; large high focal plane buoys; light floats; LANBYs and ODAS superbuoys"
This means, all lit floating aids but light vessels will be deleted from the Online List of Lights in the following weeks and months. |
